On W11 I have gotten 2 popup ads for copilot today. Linux users, i know you think W11 is bad but its worse than you think.

yes they love it because they dont feel the full pain of this war tucked safely away in their bunker. Thats all on their citizens who have to live their lives day to day.
Can you give me an example of this happening in real life so I can understand what you mean? I dont see that at all as liberal politician thing. To me it comes off as listing a bunch of things you dont like then labeling it liberal.
Edit: Never mind just realized what instance this taking place on. No point in continuing this discussion.
Even if what you claim is true(its not), isnt that a much better way of maintaining control than other systems. Because without the spin you’re basically saying the “government tries to push its population in a desired direction via light influence”.

If you find yourself falling for these kinds of jokes then you may need to reconsider how you evaluate news.

You realise some applications have a mix of content right?

I dont care about some slopcoded week old project. This is not a serious alternative.

this is entirely optional. Just because they exist doesnt mean they can be improved. The ones currently available do not cover this usecase. The use case being a locally installed application wants to check if the user is 18 before showing them something.

How does that verify nothing? It provides perfectly fine age verification.

No it doesnt. If I ask are you 18 and you reply no/yes that is verifying your age without doxing you. This field is for when the user is NOT admin on the machine. This field would be filled out by the parent when they’re setting up their kids machine.

How is it not suitable? If I setup my kids age and an app wants to use the portal to check if he is over 18 and it returns no. That suitable age verification and its privacy respecting. Which is what is being suggested.

Whats wrong with Age verification? its fine to verify age, the problem with the age verification laws is the issue of how age is being verified. In this case its fine because its local first and privacy respecting.

Parental controls on linux are a good thing. This is a fine privacy respecting implementation. People are overreacting.
Fake money for criminals is awesome I use it when im doing criminal activity online.

LTT storage is excessive. He stores all his footage in full quality instead of just storing his final edited videos in a compressed format. Plus if you’re a youtuber with millions of subscribers you can afford to pay for a few TB of storage to hold and serve your videos. Its not that expensive.
I use Phocid and its good but it has this thing that drives me insane. Default behavior is when you select a song to begin playing it as a playlist. But if you search it treats the results as a playlist. Ok fine I can long press the song and add to queue.
But I change the default behavior to select a song being add to queue there is no option to long press and play as a playlist. Am I using it wrong or missing a way to use the app properly?
