People who genuinely think like this (as in, that users going to Bluesky is somehow bad, surprising or something only stupid people do) are the very reason systems such as Mastodon cannot work. And sadly they naturally pervade such systems, at a development, administration and user level.

0·2 years agoI would guess the latter. That’s 10 guides a day. An even somewhat useful guide would take 5 days alone to research and write I would estimate.
What they want is the slew of spam-AI-generated “Here’s how to obtain the third rusty shortsword in age of calamity”-“guides” where it’s 5-10 pages of always the same overly verbose prose that’s totally not done by an LLM, no no. And there’s like 4 words of content in the whole article, about something utterly menial. And these guides exist for every single of 15000 items, in every single video game. Of course they do.

0·3 years agoThis comes from your search results. I just tried it, and for me it answers what you’d expect. I suspect you use a search system that’s either bing, based on bing, or sends queries to bing, and as a result of that it assumed you wanted to search for this specific thing.
Mind you, that makes it no less ridiculous since on the web, Bing can recognize that you put in a math query and answers it without wanting to autocomplete it. It’s still bad, just in a slightly more specific way. 😂
