It almost certainly is, Both Sanitation and Time2lose use the term “reddit agent” when people point out the automated reposts.

Isn’t that just a client side filter, would be up to whoever runs the community/instance rules for handling bot accounts, and if they feel the accounts should be banned.

They automated mirroring posts from Reddit to as a way to add content here (don’t provide links to original posts either or make it clear that the content is mirrored). They don’t really vet what they post either. Something thing they reposted from reddit was a person asking for help picking out PC parts for a gift, a post which the original poster would never see, and people here would just be wasting their time replying to a bot post instead of helping the OP. They’ve also repost the same article to the same community a couple hours later.

In my experience, highschool teachers could not be bothered to look over or grade assignments. They would do a lazy “what grade do you think you deserve” essay at the start of the year and carry that grade that you gave yourself through the remaining terms regardless of how much work you did or did not do in the remaining terms.

Some quick solutions would be:
Use cloudflare’s 1.1.1.3 and 1.0.0.3 DNS. At least this works on the device as long as they don’t change the DNS on the device themselves.
