Whatever you do, don’t give in to people directly offering or begging you to commission them in DMs or replies. These people are more often then not scammers who will either take your money and never give you a comission or will give you a low quality (sometime even AI generated) commission after stalling for a long time. This is a type of person you’ll encounter online if you hang out in art or furry communities and you need to be careful of it.

You should always be the one asking for a commission from an artist, them coming to you asking you to commission them is a red flag.

Scalies are also part of the furry community. Furry is a generic term describing anthropomorphic animals as well as non-human characters as a whole. It doesn’t mean they’re limited to having only fur.
