An in fact, that itself is a meme. Memes aren’t just pictures on the internet.
The term itself comes from the 70s.

It’s definitely a thing, but sounds more like a-boat to me than a-boot. Very heavy around Toronto and Ottawa.
It’s a documented dialect feature called Canadian Raising. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_raising

Ehhhhhhhh.
We have two Kias. An EV6 and a Telluride, so their EV and gas lines.
They’re nice looking cars, but the “Kia quality” definitely creeps in. If we didn’t get them on dirt cheap leases I would probably be pissed lol.

No we don’t, because it wasn’t approved in the US until the late 90s and only for treating VERY specific cancers.
It was pushed out in West Germany in the 50s specifically as a morning sickness med while pregnant, which is why these warnings are on there.

American Gridiron Football has absolutely zero connection to Australian Rules Football.
Both are descended from Association Football and Rugby Football.

Because they basically are. There’s only so many ways to design a double walled vacuum insulated cup lol.

Yeah that’s the downside. But also, it’s been almost 20 years since the original. Technology has changed a ton. It does suck that a lot of the old mods won’t be updated, but it brings in opportunity for new mods.

The hydration breaks have BEEN a thing. They first started in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Nothing is going to stop you from playing the originals with mods though.
Highly doubt any of the original mods would work with the remastered ones though, if they use a different engine. The Oblivion remaster used Unreal Engine 5 to handle all of the visuals, but kept Gamebryo as the base engine for all of the underlying mechanics. Virtually none of the existing mods for the original Oblivion worked with the remaster, but new ones could be created.
I would expect the same thing to happen with FO3 and FNV remasters.

If I’ve learned anything over the last 8-9 years, it’s that all these bottles are the same damn thing lol. One brand just happens to capitalize on a design trend first and that’s what lands.

That chart is a bit outdated. That might be the millennial moms that pick up the trend late.
All the white Gen Z girls at work have HydroJug now. Owala was a a while back. Stanley was more covid era.
My wife has a fuckin entire cabinet dedicated to her damn cups.

I could see Gordon being more unmedicated ADHD because of his stance on drugs.

He quite famously is very anti-drug due to his brother being a heroin addict, his father dying from alcohol abuse, and another very close friend dying of an overdose.
That was part of the inspiration for this show. The rampant cocaine usage in the kitchen industry, and his personal experiences with addicts.
That’s how far we’ve fallen. Bush was a god awful president responsible for the financial crash and countless deaths in the Middle East.
But he at least had some redeeming qualities. His PEPFAR program (canceled by Trump) has also saved tens of millions of lives from HIV/AIDS in Africa. He also established the worlds largest marine protected area, the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.
Trump has no real redeeming qualities.

Yeah they are limited on their screen time. They have to do an hour of reading before they can do any fun screen time, then they can do whatever until bed as long as homework is done.
At bedtime they have to be in bed, but can use their kindles to read until 10 when they automatically lock on them.

I mean believe it or don’t. I don’t give a shit lol. It’s true. I was the same way as a kid, far ahead of all of my peers with a high school reading level in first grade, twice in school scored the highest in the state for standardized testing for my grade. I even got two little trophies from the state for it.
Their mom is an insane reader as well, and clocks 100+ books a year.
They got a great head start with genetics, but we’ve also put a ton of effort into fostering that.

So you literally show where it skipped a generation, because you completely left out the Silent Generation between the Greatest Generation and the Boomers.
Greatest Gen are generally the parents of Boomers. Silent Generation are the parents of GenX. Boomers are the parents of Millennials. Gen X are the parents of Gen Z. Millennials are the parents of Gen Alpha.

Blame the parents that have abdicated their responsibility to raise their children and outsource that to screens.
My kids have grown up with screens since birth, but our going-into-fourth-grader has a 12th grade reading level and our going-into-second-grader has an 11th grade reading level because we make teaching them at home a priority.
They both score way above grade level in math and science as well. Their teachers constantly say they can tell which parents actually make their kids education a priority and which parents don’t give a shit and expect the teachers to do it all.
Pretty well, speaking from direct experience. VA has taken care of me medically. Got my degree paid for. Got a zero down home loan. Gave me connections that have supercharged my civilian career.
Virtually everyone I served with has the same experience. The Marines were nothing but good for my life. Just sucked while I was in lol.
I know there are vets out there with the opposite experience. But the ones I personally know with that experience were shitheads before the Marines and shitheads when they got out/got kicked out.
Because the UK and US have completely different forms of government?
