I’m 50. I would do just fine without AI like I did when we didn’t have the Internet. I’ll adjust. It might be a pain without GPS, Google Maps. Being without a cell phone would be a big one for me as well. It’s not like we have pay phones anymore. And I would have to go back to pagers/beepers. But i would manage either way.
I’m gen-x. This ain’t no problem for me. I don’t pay for a subscription to listen to music. I’ve known where to find music since the summer of 99. I’m not worried about any of that nonsense in life. I’m mad that I’m more than likely not going to get health coverage, social security, or friggin retire for that matter. I may not even make it to that golden age even. Especially with how my health has declined over the last 4 years. 45 was a trip yall. Ain’t no lie.
Also, I was bit young at the time for a record collection. I remember them of course. But I never owned any. So all I had known was Cassette Tapes til probably around 1996 or so when I finally got a CD player. Then, Napster happened and I never looked back. Fuck em. I got a 500Gb USB Drive with thousands of Albums on it still.

I just laughed like a silly little nilly, because I just noticed this late last night after I decided on deleting reddit for good because it was just ragebaiting algo bs anymore. Funny seeing this, this morning, front and center. As someone else stated, all of these social media sites are going the X route for Cash. It’s definitely not about “keeping Reddit safe”.
I think like some people on here, I only kept Reddit around because I can’t find Wrestling related communities, and i don’t wanna be a grounds keeper for it. There’s no substitute for /r/WoW… or at least widely used or populated for that matter.

I left that garbage eons ago. I’m unfortunately Gen-X. There are a lot of us on there. I usually tell people I’m a Xennial now because to be honest, I don’t friggin remember anything past 1980. I remember the scary ass fucking puppet lady from Mr Rogers if that means anything lol
