    ‘Weekend’, <50hour workweek, any social lifeline, or ‘rights’ and a thousand of other now normal things were once considered ‘Not realistic’.

    Not saying that op’s angle is more/less realistic, or if it will work, just saying that he’s right that anything looks unrealistic in the mental environment we are in.

    Ideas like this works like investments/powerlaw - most won’t make a dent, but the few that does, goes all the way and compensates richly for the unsuccessful ones. Just like investors, we can’t see which one will be the shooting star in advance, but all together SOME will be the shooting star, and they DO muddle what is seen as ‘realistic’ in any contemporary culture.

    I don’t have enough knowledge of how Merican Christians think, and can’t determine if this glitch will hit the stars for them, but then something else will. All groups have their own world model (Capitalism is just another belief-system) and their own glitches they are able to see and integrate, so maybe op’s angle will hit harder in religious/other groups ? I wouldn’t write it off as quickly.

    There are many many dissonant dogmas from the empire of lies, and exposing more of them is good. I don’t think it matters if your focus is the ‘ultimate’ glitch, or not. The fact is that many small creeks form a river, so your glitch are added to the body of ridiculousness we see from the dominant culture in the West, and at some point anyone can see that the emperor didn’t wear any clothes.

    You could continue with glitches such as: Capitalism is incompatible with ‘freedom’, and ‘Democracy’, 100% ‘free markets’ = 100% corruption and hierarchical dominance, or a further endless stream of dissonant stupidity and ‘glitches’ from that Epstein cesspool and their pet ideology. In fact, take ANY Merican cultural/ideological claim, and you’ll find a disturbing ‘glitch’ in the Matrix. It’s all made up!

    Go for it, and when you are ‘done’ with this one, then highlight another one. And then the next. You’ll always have a continues stream of ‘glitches’ and stupidity in the Empire of Lies.

    Seem to me that peeps outside of the AI development sphere/interest are not aware of how quickly ‘flaws’ gets fixed. There are still people that don’t think AI will ever be useful - or intelligent - based on some ‘archaic’ performance from many months ago. Reality will hit hard I think.

    Personally, I have never seen any development move faster than artificial intelligence, and whatever it can’t do ‘properly’ today, it can do tomorrow or the day after.

    Current AI/Agentic status is the clawd family of frameworks + a sota model. However, they are really stupid architectures (Every 30 minutes, the llm is yanked back and presented with the original tasks in an md file - that’s it) and are WAY behind what we can do according to papers/newest development. Papers quickly trickles down to architectures tho, and the next family of agentic frameworks will strike as fast as the clawd phenomenon.

    We are not far from general AI - not particularly from llms/transformers, but from the external cognitive ‘harness’ that are build all over. While the harness adds cognitive states to the architecture, many of the typical agentic features are being build into the model itself, so the the cognitive functionality of the harness, are being injected into the models, and the new harness fixes other ‘flaws’. We will see one clawd moment after another, faster and faster, getting better and better…

    I hope peeps live in a society that takes care of each other, and don’t treat each other as lazy bums that “just wouldn’t work hard enough”. It’s going to be horrible to peeps in US and similar Capitalist ‘might is right’ societies. There is NO safety net for ‘failure’ there.

    Back to article: It was bound to happen within a year or so.

    If you want to avoid that, then you should actually move to China or Iran, and use their national services outside of 3-letter integrated meta/twatter/alphabet and the rest of the US/western informations-sphere, incl msm. US/the West are the most information controlled population in the world - and exposed to most censorship, surveillance and propaganda. You’ll be a lot safer in Iran/China…
