if someone wants to understand what im saying they can communicate that to me by asking directly, i type many different ways on many differwnt formats and in my everyday life with the people i talk to regularly, i have no issues whatsoever, no one cares about my use of commas and run on sentences, misspelling, or punctuation, and if they did, they would ask me to clarify what im saying in a straight forward manner, and this includes most random people in piefed communities i engage with. i actually have not encountered substanceless pedantry since i left reddit. its obvious the trolls didnt care about what i was saying, and you dont seem to care either. i have no idea what saramago is and im not asking anyone for gramar advice and dont care how i seem to random people not trying understand me in the first place. English is a living language with a wide varieties of ways its used in writing, typing, and spoken language, people can be open to that fact and speak up about misunderstandings directly, which is what i normally encounter. I don’t need grammar advice and am willing to clarify anything about my original if asked.

im just having genuine human interactions with you, after you in the first place took a jab at me over something arbitrary and unrelated to the original topic, and i think even with great effort to miss the point and deflect the trajectory of conversation, its very apparent how increadibly useless bringing up grammar and punctuation is, as this seems to be an exchange filled with animosity and ill will, going nowhere and accomplishing nothing.

i never said you were dumb, i said obtuse (for changing the topic at hand to something arbitrary) pedantic (for emphasizing the arbitrary rules if grammar) and a priss mound (for being unpleasantly self righteous about the aforementioned things) and i will never give a fuck about punctuation in certain situations or the criticisms of random bad faith internet commenters. This has added nothing to the conversation.

my punctuation does not have to be perfect for the ideas to be understood, language, grammar, word use, and communication is as varied as the human experience, and obsessive pedantic emphasis on arbitrary rules serves hierarchy more than the free exchange of information. seems like more people understand this concept than dont as i have more upvotes than both of the obtuse grammar priss mounds. Also grades are not indicative of intelligence, in fact there are all kinds of intelligence that cant be formally measured.

it absolutely sucks, not just because of them either, but i do have a lot to be greatful for to in the scheme of things and i mostly try to focus on those things, i have lost a lot of loved ones and i am very aware that life is fragile and short and the blessings we have are so important, not that we should ignore our feelings or the bullshit going on either, but i will say i am happy to use my voice and mind and speak up to anyone who will listen in the current state of hyper-fractured society and its highly curated choose your own custom reality services that keep people from understanding whats really going on with the people around them and counting on just waiting around for outcomes that are never going to happen

my parents gleefully watch fox news and right wing talking heads all day everyday, they are completely insane, and all of their friends and a lot of my extended family are right there with them. everyday i hope the new extreme insane mask off thing that drops will have them changed and capable of interacting with me, but it never happens, they just become more and more discusting cheering it all on and dismissing the impact. they love trump today just as much as 2 years ago and will vote like the discusting pawns they are, and there are shit loads more people just like them and worse. They think the gas prices and any other problems that emerge is something they bravely have to endure for their leaders master plan. They think the war is some important strategic part of making america great again. There is nothing i can say or do to help them either, they see me as a dumb animal who doesnt understand the real truth that they do no matter what i say or do. They have been cut off by beloved family members and still wont change and dont care. This is the reality of the maga cult i think people who dont have to be around it dont realize, i see it everyday because i am stuck living with them.
