Um this is a long shot, but have the next door builders been dropping stuff in the guttering or over the house and/or garden? Lots of building substances are toxic when broken or distributed as a powder. It’s not just asbestos that you need to worry about on a building site. The fact that ol boy got it too has my trouble whiskers twitching.

No I don’t think you did anything. It has quieted down a bit from last year - but I reckon it’ll be back up and running when we all get to feeling like it again. Baku turned up again a few days ago.

Yes. Dealing with such persons all day today. I am sooooo over the greed of the mittle classes. Did have an enjoyable argufication with an accountant over capital gains tax, which was enlightening, if rather loud. I am rather looking forward to seeing house prices stabilise and real estate professionals getting called out for their rampant greed and their other sins of commission (pun intended). The downside of the new budget provisions is that there is now very little inherent motivation for landlords to keep maintaining properties properly. Which is going to bounce back and bite tenants in ways we haven’t seen before. Watch this space.

Made ramen tonight with some bangin’ Italian bangers from Piedmontes, bisected cherry toms and half an avo with wholemeal noodes and a squirt of sriracha in the broth. Put a cube of ham stock in the liquid too for extra smooothness. Am feeling warm and very content rn.

Looks like the BOM website is down - mine is showing no data for today or tomorrow. Anyone else having the same problem?

Saturdays are always a bit grim for me, as it’s the osteoporosis pill day. Which comes with very inconvenient side effects but it’s only one day of the week and the pills are working so I persist with them. Tomorrow is my best weekend day. Will update this time tomorrow.
