  • you really have stuck your head in the fucking sand haven’t you.

the average “$60” game in reality costs about $200 once you add in all of the dlcs that are 1/10th the size of the game but cost half the price of the main game. or think of bethesda… they release the same bugs in all their games and never fix them. relying on players to mod in fixes… then they bundle that fix into stuff like creation club dlcs (read paid mods) and SELL it as a minor dlc. they sell the fucking patch to fix their game… and they don’t even actually create the patch.

every “free” game is now either subscription required, subscribe to win, or a gacha cash game.

and don’t get me started on micro transactions and the mobile game industry… lets just say… more and more of them are subscribe for $10 a week for ad free experience (with so many ads that you literally can’t play the game without the ad free subscription).

but please do stick your head in the sand like the average “live in mommy’s basement, wears a double lightning armband to parties, low life incel” who refuses to change his narrow minded views simply because doing so would be admitting you were wrong… which in your book is a sin worthy of eternal damnation.

  • will you both pull your heads out of your asses. both of you are correct. yes some stuff is on sale but it is also true that games are more expensive in general so even with sales… a more modern game will still be more expensive than a pre-2014 game (arbitrary year chosen). and RTA… you were pretty hostile so don’t deny that part. just because you personally think you aren’t hostile doesn’t mean that everyone agrees with you on that point. and while some games are consistently on sale… cherry picking a few games and saying “see game is on sale” doesn’t = not rare to see a sale. only about 60% of all games go on sale (and most of those are filled with micro transactions that make up the cost). there are less modern games receiving price reductions as they age but this is mostly corporate greed.
