Don’t recommend this but I have a story.

This is twenty years ago, and weed wasnt legal. I was getting kicked out of a casino for being stupid and arguing with the dealer. But they didn’t just kick me out, they brought me to “the backrooms”. They said they plan to call the cops, and In hindsight, I think it was a fake threat. But since I’m carrying weed brownies, I panicked and ate them. I usually consume a 1/2 a bar. But in that panic, I ate 3 whole bars.

While still sober, they finally kick me out, no cops.

Then while walking back to my motel, the brownies kicked in and I did not have a good time.

I’m a old person. Is that somebody important?

They advertised everywhere like at all the crypto conferences, all the mobile microtransactions conferences, and all the conferences for business execs who demand movies/TV based on video games to focus on “the non-gamer”.

Honestly its one of those games where I recommend people pirate and if you like it or feel like you got a lot out of it and think they do deserve it, pay for it.

America is a pro-business country.

They can fire you for any reason, like if they hate you’re gay. They don’t SAY that. They wishy washy it with “not a cultural fit”. Or throw you into difficult situations so they can fire you with “unable to complete tasks”.

I have Europeans who joined my company surprised at how little protection they get.

Around 2015, My niece told me she worked at a bank teller and the first thing they did was require her to install the bank’s app and rate it five stars. She said her phone is too old and they got angry. And she’d tell me they’d do “phone sweeps” to see if the app was on people’s phones.

Do min-wage companies still do this or do they know better?

In the 2000s, people were already starting to move back in with their family. There were jokes in movies and TV, but not much. The rising cost of everything, it was a good financial move to save money living with your parents again.

2020s and making that joke? Have you seen how expensive rent is? I don’t even think I see it in entertainment anymore.

Consoles made it normal to pay for a subscription service to play multiplayer. Consoles are why games want to charge $70-90. Consoles create wallet experience and “exclusive” platforms for their games.
