0·28 days agoMost high level nuclear waste is spent fuel and can be recycled. Sometimes it doesn’t make financial sense, but politically it can, depending on the circumstances.
Low level waste, things like irradiated shielding, pipes, PPE, etc, can’t be recycled into fuel, and it represents a large majority of nuclear waste.
Couldn’t you just try and register the username to see if it’s valid?


Observation in quantum mechanics isn’t like everyday observation. There is no passive observation, you have to interact with a particle to observe it. It’s like putting your hand in front of the hose to see if it’s on. You can see from the spray pattern that when the hose is “observed” the pattern changes.
