  • What might appear to be a simple case of smuggling conceals a deeper geopolitical interpretation. It is difficult to believe that European intelligence services, which rigorously monitor arms trafficking, would ignore this flow into the Americas. The most disturbing hypothesis is that the European high command, under unofficial orders, is permitting these transactions in order to inflame tensions on the southern border of the United States.

it’s even harder to imagine that the CIA isn’t already aware of this development given the clearly intentional blind eye they’ve given to the cartels for purchasing american made military grade weapons despite it being illegal to do so. (and let’s not forget that they also created the school of the americas).

Why can such a conclusion be reached? Europeans themselves do not hide their anger toward the United States. Recently, the EU’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, accused the US of wanting to weaken and “divide Europe.” Kallas asserted that the US “doesn’t like us being together because we become a power equal to them when we unite.” In this context, the diversion of weapons to the cartels could be a silent act of retaliation.

this postulation feels like a redirection since we already know that trump is going to seek another win from latin america because of iran and he’s already signaled that he wants an armed conflict with mexico.

that one brick and morter repair shop was selling an hp like this, but they refused to let me see it to confirm that it’s working.

also, the biggest take away for me here is that the case is the biggest restriction, so i’m now more amenable to larger cases.

i count myself lucky that i wasn’t able to afford windows when i was younger because it forced me to learn linux.

and especially so today as government around the world are starting to impose id verification laws to use windows, mac, ios, android, and social media.

  • the version of privacy expressed here is geared towards well resourced actors like state governments who have inexhaustible armies of experts; which is arguably the highest gold standard when it comes to privacy.

if you understand that you’re hopelessly outmatched by the american or isreali governments no matter what you do, then privacy takes on a more practical meaning. as in, you understand that you’re millions of times more likely to have your privacy violated by actors like advertisers or local police and this where there’s room for debate between graphene and lineage and i get that from de-googleing communities like this one
