That’s the other half of the problem I always see … it’s not just the insanity of a person or individual who is constantly chasing after even more astronomical amounts of money and wealth and power … it’s the 80% of everyone else including me and you who all just stand by and allow it all to happen and contribute to it and maintain it all

It’s like the whole Trump thing in America … sure Trump is an idiot … but there is an entire nation that either supports its, ignores it, maintains it or works for it, and all of them just accept it as normal

It’s what I don’t understand about the ultra rich … a billionaire has enough money to live comfortably for one lifetime, and they would only use a fraction of their wealth to do it … yet they want to acquire even more wealth, as much as possible and it any wealth they do achieve is only accelerated because it means they can gain more faster.

It’s like finding a mountain of sugar, you eat it and it makes you feel great and you can eat as much of it as you like, you’ll never be able to eat all of it, even if you tried … but no matter what anyone says, you still want more sugar.

When you describe this scenario with money, its a normal conversation … if you said anyone wants a billion of something … like a billion collector cards, a billion cats, a billion motorcycles, a billion sandwiches, you’re considered nuts … but if you want a billion dollars, that’s perfectly normal

  • No … lack of government oversight, as well as colluding with the trucking industry to deregulate and dumb down the whole trucking industry by taking advantage of cheap foreign labor while also putting the public in danger on the highway … is what is destroying trucking.

I live in northern Ontario and I keep non stop from everyone up here that they want to blame ‘Pakis’, ‘turban heads’ and ‘foreigners’ for making the highways dangerous … they are right in a very small way.

The greatest blame for all this is the provincial and federal governments working with big trucking companies to deregulate the entire system and put us all in danger on the highway. All for what? So that some a-hole billionaire can make even more money they’re never going to use?

  • A better protest would be to absolutely boycott one single company. Just pick one company and just completely shut them out. Pick a grocery store chain … just completely blank them out … or a clothing store brand, just completely block them … or a gas station chain, just shut them down.

Go about your regular shopping and spending … just avoid one company that everyone agrees on. Keep up the boycott until you drive that one company into the ground or just completely wipe them out.

Then move on to the next company … and keep doing it over and over again.

This way, everyone can keep up their habits of wanting to spend money on whatever they want. No one person would ever really be terribly inconvenienced. Most people would not notice any changes and everyone could go about doing what they always did with minor changes … but it would send a very strong message to every company out there what power people have over them.

  • Instead of trying to switch over to highly processed vegan product that tries to emulate beef or chicken using tons of additives and scientifically engineered flavours and textures … why not just start eating actual wholesome vegetables and legumes with high protein content like lentils or beans.

If the cost of meat products is starting to match the cost of expensive meat substitutes … it probably matches the cost of just eating expensive raw vegetables and beans too.

Humans have been eating high protein vegetables for centuries and it is way more healthier for you than whatever factory produced vegetable mash.

  • Sorry for the confusion … but I was referring to Pornhub and Youtube … both platforms that do nothing but host yet receive all or most of the revenue for all the activity, performances and creativity of everyone who posts anything on those platforms. They are both like Ticketmaster, they do very little for anyone in the equation, they don’t create, they don’t perform, they don’t provide support, they just guide audiences to the performance, yet receive the majority of the benefit of the transaction.
