  • if you only had the choice between hamas and likud/israel, would you side with the people that constantly have their homes stolen, are systematically oppressed and treated as less than human for decades? the palestinians first protested peacefully against the occupation which was just dictated to them by the british and were brutally beaten down. then they protested with stones and were shot and murdered. when they took the rifles in their own hand in complete desparation they were labeled terrorists. that is how the whole thing works, you cant just look at the last 3 years and think you see the whole picture without context. if the israelis would respect them as humans and their territorial borders it would be a different story.

  • I personally would recommend Linux Mint for non tech savvy users or super lazy people and Arch Linux with Gnome for people that know a bit better how to use computers but are too lazy to customize stuff. I am very sceptical if Zorin OS because they are the kind of company to make a “Pro” version that costs money, which is just bs in my eyes. Every Linux distribution is basically the same, dont fall for stuff like “made for gamers” or “optimized for speed”, its nonsense in most cases, its just some preinstalled programs or scripts.

But I support you changing to Linux, I switched myself 5 years ago and never looked back since.
