To be pedantic in return - in 3D modeling you absolutely can add greebling as a bump map or tessellation texture.

Anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com•[Question] How would an anarchist society handle intelligence?
0·2 months agoAnarchist organizations are actually much harder to infiltrate than Communist or Fascist organizations - this is a known problem for the FBI among others.
The reason for this is that most anarchist organizations are comprised of cells (a small number of people who know and trust each other) and those cells collaborate to form syndicates or unions or communes or whatever your flavor of Anarchism calls them.
Cells are naturally better at opsec because of their non-hierarchical, decentralized, consensus-based, and often friendship-based nature. Also anarchists are just a lot more security-aware than other leftist groups in my personal experience.
In terms of offensive capabilities… trans catgirl hackers.

Technology@beehaw.org•Bluetooth tracker hidden in a postcard and mailed to a warship exposed its location — $5 gadget put a $585 million Dutch ship at risk for 24 hours
0·2 months agoI wouldn’t have governments do anything, except disband and decommission all military assets, but if I were somehow in that position then yes I would recommend providing secure devices. The cost is insignificant - just buy one less fighter jet.

0·2 months agoNo amount of infosec training will make your civilian iPhone secure. All I’m saying is that it’s weird not to issue secure phones to personnel.
