You just need to commit. Here in Germany we can file taxes at the end of the year and get 100-1000€ back from the state. Most don’t need to do it, but everyone does it.
I hate it. It’s 2 hours to get that money but I hate it with all my soul. It’s not 2 hours for me, it’s 300 days worrying that I still need to do it and then eventually 2 hours. I refuse to do that.
I just don’t file my taxes. That’s it. Call it laziness, call it donation, I don’t care.
Will cost me probably 25.000k during my lifetime, but I don’t care. A nice car will cost me even more and so I save more money than that by not giving a fuck about cars.
I have many other things I get of my mind like this and I’m happy to say: I have 8 hours of care free free time on weekdays and 16 on weekends. I love it and would never change it for a nicer car and some other superficial shit.
Oh boy. If people would just start seeing that open source still gives you exactly this, but you know, Linux is for incels and shit, I much more prefer being spied on by big corp.
