13 hours agoI hate everything about this regime. Just like many in the Weimar Republic laughed at how goofy the Nazis were in the 1920s as they were coming up, the goofiness and incompetence almost disarms people from seeing the evilness.

If we can make it to that point I’ll be relieved. I’m expecting Trump and Miller to do a few things all at once:

Send in ICE goons to prevent people from voting in many Democratic places

Stage some false flag terrorist attacks at polling places or counting stations as a pretext to seize voting machines/ballots

Work with Musk and Thiel to sabotage the systems themselves (much like Musk did in 2024, I’m not saying it’s a 100% fact but there has been enough fuckery to do hand recounts)

Use the war (pick any war, maybe a new one by that point) to cancel elections all together and even though Democratic states will hold elections, Republican states will not, so he’ll have SCOTUS rule it an incomplete election and therefore invalid or something

0·4 days agoRevolutions have resulted in net worse societies historically. They are such major high risk high reward actions that there’s a big chance that just another elite will replace the current elite, and be just as bad or worse due to the chaos.
Also you just said it, capital runs the world. How would you have a revolution against the whole world? It’s fun to think about if you’re a college sophomore, but in reality that’s not a feasible, or even good, solution.

People need to just… literally listen to the words that the technofascists are saying. Musk, Andreeson, Yarvin, etc. have no qualms about saying everything out loud.
The interesting thing about child rape, is that it activates the completely unhinged QAnon-esque people, who actually do commit violence with glee. Though I disagree with them on many things, we just happen to be aligned on “child rape=bad”. That crime creates a visceral reaction that “stealing and selling state secrets” doesn’t quite emit.
So I feel like Epstein is the one thing that could actually get through to many in MAGA cult.
People on the fediverse don’t want to hear this, but a complete revolution from the ground up is going to result in a net worse world than a heavily reformed government/society.
We still need to take all this anger and energy to change the system, but a complete revolution away from capitalism is just… not going to happen, unless every country in the world also participates. The beauty of reform is that there are many different levels to it, and we can accomplish almost everything needed with “reforms”. These may seem quite extreme to a midwest moderate housewife (i.e. some average middle class person), but they are necessary to push back against this literal evil world domination scheme being enacted by the technofascists (Musk, Andreeson, Horowitz, Thiel, Vought, Roberts, Miller, Yarvin, etc.).

Many places are actively outlawing RCV ahead of time, because they know it would chip away at their duopoly. Mainly they’re doing it in Republican places because they know they can never win on a fair play field, but there are a surprising amount of Democrats against RCV.
