Pfft. They’re not on the team!
He’s on the team, he’s like the jokey guy that isn’t really good and he mostly rides the bench but everyone loves him so he boosts morale, and he’s doing his best.
Ah, yes. Nepotism. I know it well.
Larry probably gets extra pets and treats, too.
Marvelous.
digging latrines
Lmfao, bro thinks he can train and employ a cat who’s digging holes just for the love of the game.
I know this is the cats community, but my old dog was similar. Sometimes I’d be looking for something on the ground, like a four-leaf clover or something I dropped. She didn’t know what I was looking for, but she’d come by with intense interest in whatever I was sifting through. If I were to start digging, she would have started digging, too.
It was funny when it snowed and I’d get the snow shovel. She’d follow me and start digging at piles of snow without any clear direction or goal.
Animals are so pure, it knew what you were doing but was unable to comprehend why, but still wanted to be a part of it.
This is amazing.
“He is empathically not on the team”
What? He’s 200% empathically on the team, how can that be misunderstood? Empathically being there and just es excited to do the work has nothing to do with how go they are on the actual task of finding the truffles.
Emphatically, not “Empathically.”
Emphatically means “with emphasis.” Like saying “he is definitely not on the team.”
You moved the “H”
And I learned a new word! Also read it wrong the first time, and would have thought it was a typo either way.
Oh, this is a good one. I’ll have to keep this one in my back pocket.
It’s a great stand in for

🏅
That is pocketful of simulacra of every fucking job that I have ever held.
That’s called Imposter Syndrome. It’s when you feel like you’re not suited to your job and is actually very common amongst charlatans like you who don’t have a clue what you’re doing and are causing so many problems for everyone else but purely by chance they haven’t realised yet or maybe they have and are going to publicly confront you about it any second now
People showing you the door is not the same thing as you looking at it.
Your reply, though, is a mercy and a kindness.
Psychologically, seeing someone perform at a task worse than you can make you more motivated to perform that task well.
How can you say he’s not on the team! What a good little buddy.
He’s the VP of office culture
Larry IS the team
So Larry is the manager…
No, he actually did holes. He’s the manager’s neurodivergant kid who sincerely wants to work, but isn’t able to fully understand the assignment.
I love Larry, and think it’s great that he comes along and joins in!
