Parenthood has taught me that anyone who thinks they don’t want kids should absolutely be free to follow that and not have kids.

It’s also taught me that all of the cringe goofball nonsense is 100% sincere. Being a parent changes the human brain in weird ways. Which is good, because babies need someone to clean them up after they puke on themselves and shit their plants so hard it gets in their hair.

(Parenthood can be considered a necessary mental illness.)

My nephew has never once failed to pee on me when getting changed. I think he hold into it until it’s time.

Not having kids is one of my greater regrets in life. Unfortunately i never had a stable enough life situation to make that choice.

Having a kid is one of my greatest what ifs.

Idk if I regret having the little dude but I woulda had so many adventures otherwise.

        Just the life we lead.

How old is the little dude? Mine are both not so little anymore, in public school. I feel like I didn’t truly love them until I could start talking to them. And I loved them, but when they started talking to me and I started seeing inside their heads, it really unlocked a whole next level of how much I love them. And yes, plenty of not so great stuff too, but it’s all part of the package.

Yeah, although I already did the goofball shit before parenting (maybe cause of my baby sis). Just now I have someone who appreciates random funny voices and silly faces.
