I did not enjoy working 8 hours yesterday. I won’t be rushing to do another Sunday anytime soon. Or a Saturday really, life’s too short to be spending all my time at work. I need rest and plenty of it. I mean I’d like money and plenty of that too, but at what cost.

Anyway, it’s Monday yeehaa and it’s pretty warm so there’s that.

Trade a Monday/Tuesday for a Saturday/Sunday. More money and still get two days off. And since you’re off when everyone else is at work you can actually get stuff done - haircuts, banking, shopping without crowds, go to public spaces without it being jammed with families.

I mean yeah fantastic in theory but I think that would be frowned upon.

Funny but a workmate that also lives on Russell joked last week that if I worked the weekend I wouldn’t be in on Monday. He’s not in today, lol.

I text him earlier and said that I thought we were joking about having Monday off.

I would happily trade weekends for two days off in the week but yeah, I don’t think it’s acceptable.

You’ve gotta keep going to work so you can get the good oil on our burnout mates.

Noticed as I drove past this morning that the house with the cop car parked out front is now police free. That may explain why the burnouts started kicking off again. Tempted to bust out the drone and send it down to see what it can see. It’s cool to operate a drone in suburbia from a quarter mile away at night right? I think I saw CASA say that’s cool.
