I did not enjoy working 8 hours yesterday. I won’t be rushing to do another Sunday anytime soon. Or a Saturday really, life’s too short to be spending all my time at work. I need rest and plenty of it. I mean I’d like money and plenty of that too, but at what cost.

Anyway, it’s Monday yeehaa and it’s pretty warm so there’s that.

Trade a Monday/Tuesday for a Saturday/Sunday. More money and still get two days off. And since you’re off when everyone else is at work you can actually get stuff done - haircuts, banking, shopping without crowds, go to public spaces without it being jammed with families.

I mean yeah fantastic in theory but I think that would be frowned upon.

Funny but a workmate that also lives on Russell joked last week that if I worked the weekend I wouldn’t be in on Monday. He’s not in today, lol.

I text him earlier and said that I thought we were joking about having Monday off.

I would happily trade weekends for two days off in the week but yeah, I don’t think it’s acceptable.

You’ve gotta keep going to work so you can get the good oil on our burnout mates.

Noticed as I drove past this morning that the house with the cop car parked out front is now police free. That may explain why the burnouts started kicking off again. Tempted to bust out the drone and send it down to see what it can see. It’s cool to operate a drone in suburbia from a quarter mile away at night right? I think I saw CASA say that’s cool.

Eek, I’ve got no mobile data this morning. No idea why, my plan isn’t anywhere near used up. Now relying on QR wifi for my commute. Which I’m pretty sure gives you like 10 MB before it cuts you off for the day.

        G’day!

I found out the problem. My plan was supposed to renew today but I hadn’t updated to my new card. They decided to tell me that this had caused an issue by text at 8am, 30 mins after I left home and started encountering the problem, and presumably more like 8 hours after the problem started…

        Anyway, all resolved now.

On my drive to work today I saw half a dozen BYD Seals. One of them was the new BYD Seal 6 (aka the hybrid) which they’ve managed to bugger up the looks somehow. They took the real deal Seal and then stuck Captiva lights on the back or something? And angled the rear deflector with a square outline so its all smooth lines with a box for an arsehole like it’s wanting to poop cubes like a wombat.

Really not sure why you’d buy a Seal in a hybrid to be honest. It does 500+ kilometers in BEV form… how far are you planning on travelling in one go that 500 clicks is insufficient?

What colour is your Seal? I’ve been waving at every Seal I see just in case.

They are so incredibly common around the Salisbury to Browns Plains stretch. Amazing how popular they are.

Atlantis Grey, though I would call it blue. Number plates are personalised with white text on black background if that narrows it down.

I’ve seen a lot of Seal’s, as well as the Sealion 7’s. Crazy how many have exploded onto the roads.

If you see a white one with very dark tinted windows (and probably dirty as all heck because we have a dirt driveway which stays muddy for weeks after heavy rain) and a numberplate that has the same logo as some photos I post, then return my wave dammit!

Actually the wife is mostly driving it at the moment so don’t be too excited when you see an attractive driver. I’m the hairier one.

Does it have AD in it? 🤔
