Yes. Killing when done righteously is a chore like any other, and sometimes the easiest way of dealing with someone is to just blow their brains out. Mind you I’m more than comfortable enough to admit I am biased as fuck, like yes it’d suck if say Mamdani was killed but at the same time imagine if someone set off a car bomb and vaporized a couple Congress critters during the RNC.

What reprisals do you think would result from that?

The people executing those reprisals would feel just a “righteous” as you feel about killing them.

Violence has never resulted in people being better off.

It resulted in my ancestors being better off, what with the fact that quite a few of them being random murderous bandits shedding saxon blood in retribution before the war for Scottish independence kicked off properly. Or how about my murderous kin here in the US that solved their problems by making their problems corpses and then dumping them in the Mojave, which we were doing up until the 50s, or maybe should bring up the good Friday agreement. Killing for the sake of it isnt the point, the point is to collapse moral, organizational integrity, or just kill enough people that retaliation is impossible.

Regardless I am entirely retributionary in my want for violence, I don’t start proposing to kill preachers until they propose killing queers, I don’t propose killing businessmen until they start to deny pay, I don’t start to propose killing politicians until they start to take the food from the mouths of children, et cetera et cetera. Even fucking then I would still rather deal with it through political and l legalistic means, but when civility fails savagery must be embraced.

Also don’t bring up moral relativism, I don’t particularly care.

Did it really go well? A lot of people died and Scotland wound up not being independent. Scotland may someday be independent, but it will happen through voting peacefully, not through violence.

Or how about my murderous kin here in the US that solved their problems by making their problems corpses and then dumping them in the Mojave, which we were doing up until the 50s

Don’t even know what you’re referring to here. Are you saying things worked out great fro indigenous people in the US?

or maybe should bring up the good Friday agreement.

Maybe we should. Eventually the majority of the population of Northern Ireland will be Catholic, because Catholics tend to have more children. Since Catholics tend to want to leave the UK and become a part of the Republic of Ireland, it’s inevitable that will happen. Tony Blair sat everyone down and explained that to everyone and the Troubles came to an end. This was always going to happen regardless of whether or not there was violence. Northern Ireland will become part of the Republic of Ireland because people will someday vote for that. So once again violence accomplished nothing.

You’re American so you’ve been taught in school that freedom comes from violence. The reality is violence just leads to more violence. The American revolution was about slave masters talking a big game about freedom and equality, but those words were obviously bullshit because they were slave masters. Really it was about some wealthy assholes not wanting to pay taxes and wanting to expand westward to massacre indigenous people and take their land.

You seek retribution against others, then they seek retribution against you, and it’s a cycle that doesn’t end until people can sit down and negotiate. What makes this malignant is when powerful people can become entrenched and propagandize people into thinking violence will accomplish something. Then it becomes systemic as it has with Iran. They can’t make peace with the US and Israel because that would make them appear weak to their propagandized base. Trump is the same. So get used to seeing Iranians getting bombed and occasionally some American soldiers getting killed. Each side vowing retribution against the other for the retribution they did.

Your moral relativism places your feelings over people’s lives. They killed the Ayatollah, did that settle everything in Iran? Do you think killing Netanyahu or Trump or whoever you’re upset about will actually change anything? It will likely get more people killed. Another school in Iran might accidentally get bombed. But I guess you don’t care about collateral damage, just like Trump doesn’t care. You’re the same kind of person they are.

Yes, unefuckingquivocally. Hands fucking down. Some fuckbag in power makes orders that cause dozens, hundreds, thousands, more, of the deaths of small people who don’t make the news?

YES. THAT PIECE OF GARBAGE SHOULD BE KILLED. Every single fucking one of them. Root and fucking branch.

This “root and branch” approach this is exactly what Israel is doing. Leaders of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have been killed. The people below them have been killed. The level below them, also killed.

So you agree with the strategy Israel is using, you just don’t like that they are better at it than their enemies.
