IMO it is hypocritical for those constantly on Twitter, Insta, whatever their doomscrolling feed of choice is to… complain about the circumstance.

Especially if they pay a subscription to do so, and play the engagement bait game, without ever venturing outside the feed to seek out why things suck.

That is not “I need to eat.” That is a choice.
