This design looks so cheap to me, it’s just a bunch of random covers, there is no information about the movies presented in any way, the covers are way too big and take up an inordinate amount of space and there is nothing breaking up sections, design is just so fucking dumb now, fuck mobile
rant over 😅

Nope, you’re right, Joelle, this looks like hot stinky cat shit.
Fuck this design.
LOL hey Tanis, like there is zero design elements at all besides the number, no flair, no color, no focus stealer, decades of design out the window lol
I’m pretty sure half of Lemmy is on a first-name basis at this point. :D
It’s a small world after all it’s a small world… lol. Yah it’s kinda cozy 😊 Hope you’re having a nice night!
I’m doing pretty good, going back and forth between playing Sea of Stars on my phone, and editing more of that photo weekend in Seattle!
I hope I’m not annoying Lemmy’s photography community with how often I’m posting.
As a random butting in: you are not annoying me at all! Thanks for sharing your work
You’re very welcome! I do my best to put forth quality pictures. Eventually, I hope I can get exhibited in some galleries once in a while!
Well I can’t speak for them but I really enjoy your photos 🤩
This one didn’t get the Turtle Seal of Goodness, but I still offer it up cause of how strange it is:
Strange is my mana lol, I like it not only for the giraffe haha but the contast too not only the focus and color but the rusty machinery and the statue that looks like it might be from a merry go round… nice!
Captured at the end of the embankment at the Gas Works Park in Seattle, while the workers were trying to dismantle the Day Trip festival, and they just let me and my assistants move about the area with ease! So there was this giraffe and a giant turtle standing next to him, and it was super simple to just line up the shot with the ruins of the gas plant, and this fiberglass giraffe right there, and it turned out quite a bit trippy.
The whole park has this Nier Automata vibe about it: rusted ruins of an old gas plant, amongst geese just roaming about, and across Lake Union, the whole skyline can be seen. It’s been a very dreamlike, very improbable place every time I’ve been there, and showing up while a festival was being torn down was something else!
This thread is so wholesome and it makes me happy 🥰
I hope you both are having a lovely day!

Thanks you too 🥰
