    I know, right? 1lb of hamburger is around $8 for me. I buy ground turkey instead. It’s generally leaner and I get it for $10 for 3lbs. It doesn’t taste exactly the same, but I like it and it’s way cheaper.

      When we can, we like to do a mix of ground turkey and beef, cause the turkey taste is a bit different. The mix we have found great for things like chili, spaghetti, loose meat (mamwich) etc… Gives some beefy flavor and saves a little money.

        You can also use a beef broth or bullion cube and it’ll basically infuse the turkey with the beef flavor.
