Because once that guard sees a robbery is happening, all they’re going to do is call the police anyway. Why pay a person to sit there all day long when the teller will trigger the alarm just as fast, if not faster?
They already have a guard. Why not move them into a secure room?
To do what?
A non-visible guard isn’t a deterrent.
And they already have the cameras recording to NVRs 24/7 in a remote location.
