People have celebrated others’ deaths since walking forward was invented. For a long time, public executions were entertainment. While we moved from that, feeling satisfaction at the death of people we consider troublesome or worse is the norm.
Isn’t that the whole point of things like the Darwin awards, pointing out when someone’s own flawed behaviour led to their demise when they could have easily avoided it by making better decisions?
Sorry, but some people just endanger everyone else and I can’t feel very sorry if evolution eradicates them. And I’m all for protecting the dumb and weak.
People being smug online when someone dies is really offputing to me. Online spaces eradicate all the basic decency.

The antivax idiots risked the lifes of everybody around them, can’t say I have that much sympathy for them.
I feel far more sorry for people anti-vaxers have gotten sick or killed with their bullshit than I ever will the anti-vaxer.
