Mostly just the way Mint is set up out of the box and having most of the Mint tools available. I remember LMDE lacking some of the tools like the GPU driver installer last time I tried it, but I’m sure those are either being added over time or will be in the future.
Same conclusion for me. Been using Linux for years, Mint is the only distro I’ve used that #JustWorks in my experience.
I use LMDE as my personal laptop, it’s rock stable.
What’s the difference between LMDE and running Cinnamon on Debian?
LMDE tries to give you the Mint experience on a Debian base. It’s Debian for people who like Mint, I guess.
