This is what they want an increased budget for - better surveillance of the general population. Just say no to ICE.
Fuck ice. It is a criminal and terrorist organization and should not exist
Things like every ICE and BP “agent” should be executed in the street, the fucking criminals. That kind of stuff?
Naughty things like acknowledging that they’re the exact sort of governmental overreach and violence our declaration of independence had a problem with? Stuff like acknowledging that they’re tyrannical morons engaging in violence against the common people? Or like acknowledging that they all belong in prison?
How fucking dare you, stop teasing them, you know those dipshits can’t read!
Naughty? Like how they’re doo-doo feces?
So, ICE is trying to dox folks:
The effort has swept up U.S. citizens and activist groups that track ICE activity, with contractors assembling dossiers that can include a poster’s name, birth date, employer, Social Security number and vehicle records. To identify anonymous accounts, the Department of Homeland Security has sent hundreds of subpoenas to social media companies, and recently escalated to grand jury subpoenas that are harder to fight.
Meanwhile…
The administration now treats organized doxxing of officers as domestic terrorism, a label it has stretched to cover filming agents at work. ICE spending on surveillance tools and consultants hit $258 million in Trump’s first full year back, a 57% jump.
I’d point out the hypocrisy if it weren’t so depressingly obvious.
ICE payrolls are federal records, just saying.
Republicans are very much “rules are for thee, rights are for me” folk. Like they studied politics under the Trix rabbit.
In-group, out-group, rules, etc.
They laugh in the faces of those that point out their hypocrisy. They don’t give a fuck.
They need to face real consequences. They cannot be shamed.
I’m so happy my tax dollars are being used to pay for this + every other horrible thing the administration is doing right now, which if I spent time listing, this paragraph turns into a thesis paper. Not healthcare or infrastructure or even just giving the military a needlessly inflated budget, no, let’s just blow money on every stupid, cruel, and hateful thing we can; I’m sure these chickens will never come home to roost.

While it is “stupid, cruel, and hateful”, it is also legal and extremely profitable for the private companies the regime awards contracts to.
yes, hence why I started with “I’m so happy my tax dollars are being used to pay for this”. Even after the administration is put in prison for their crimes (however long that may take – years, definitely, decades, possibly), there will remain countless others who got to enrich themselves off of our dime for utterly stupid shit like this; and will get away with it precisely because their actions are legal, even if they directly enable the regime to better perform illegal repression of free speech.
YIPPEEEEE, capitalism!
Even after the administration is put in prison for their crimes (however long that may take – years, definitely, decades, possibly),
That’s a pretty optimistic take. You know nothing is gonna happen to these fucks. I do know I’m popping a bottle of champagne when Trump dies. I bet there will literally be spontaneous parties after he dies to celebrate it.
I’ve already made my peace with the idea that Trump will never see justice and will die a free man, but there are plenty of younger men in his administration who have many years ahead of them, and the crimes they’ve committed and will commit have consequences that reach far beyond 2028, whether or not they willingly leave office at that time. Sooner or later, someone answers for this horseshit, and I and many others are and will be harassing our representatives to make sure that happens – me, personally, I’d really like to see Russell Vought and Stephen Miller spend their final years in a cell.
I just have to keep telling myself that in mid-1939, before the war but well after much repression, probably nobody in Germany thought the Nazis would ever be punished for what they were doing to Jewish people.
I also have a nice bottle of wine saved for Trump’s death, but I was very tempted to open it if we got McConnell and Graham in the same week. Alas, it was not to be.
I agree, I’m just making sure that the focus on profit isn’t lost.
I am currently participating in this open course called Hitler and Stalin Today and it has been really enlightening to see how much of world history has been shaped by the commoditization of humans for profit.
Fucking losers.

More accurate headline:
[Fascist Paramilitary known for constitutional violations, murders, and abductions called] ICE [in] hunt to unmask online accounts [for critical free speech use]
Careful, that sounds naughty!
Interesting. We have the first amendment which protects our speech (as long as we don’t advocate violence), so if we’re critical of ICE killing Pretti and Good, for example, then the government pays contractors to censor or otherwise harass us?
All hail King Trump?
We have the first amendment
Lol. Stupid Americans voted to give total power to a party that doesn’t give a FUUUUUUUUCK about the Constitution.
Yeah, but somethingsomethingbothsides and gEnOcIdEjOe !!!11 (So-called “centrists” and so-called “leftists”, LOL)
Also, from the RWAs that kneel before Donvict - “well, Kamala was gonna make everyone TRANS!!111”
I so hate this timeline.
Every employee of ICE is a child molester.
I want to see the assholes responsible for this dragged into Congress to get asked some questions, in front of cameras.
For starters. Get these motherfuckers on record, and get everything ready for action if/when the Democrats get any power again. Conservatives and Republicans need to have examples set, apparently, because they haven’t had to face any consequences since at least Nixon. They got away with Iran/Contra, too, essentially. With W’s war crimes. And now both terms of Donvict.
Some motherfuckers need to start going away for long prison sentences. And the Democrats should IGNORE any pardons from this president and get caught trying to imprison these motherfuckers anyway.
A-fucking-men to all of it!
I want to address the pardons, which nobody else talks about. We don’t have to accept those pardons, no matter what the Constitution says. He issued those pardons to directly subvert and obstruct justice, using the promise of pardons to convince people to commit crime. That is not a use that the Founding Fathers dreamed of.
Re-arrest ALL of them, charge them with new crimes if they have to, and put them all back in prison. If they want, they can follow their beloved ICE recommendations, and “self-deport” themselves back to prison to fill out their original terms.
Those who don’t show up, will have their terms doubled, once they are caught, and there will be no statute of limitations on Pardon Jumpers. We will hound Jan 6 Traitors until the day they die.
And pardons that were paid for, are not pardons, they’re crimes, and anyone who paid or facilitated a bribe should get a very long, harsh sentence.
And when they are caught, the justice system will grind very slowly, making sure they get every bit of the Constitutional rights maintained, for as long as it takes. They may sit in prison for 4 or 5 years, just to get into court to argue about the pardon for their 7 month sentence. Or they can just eat their original sentence, and STFU.
ICE y’all don’t need a tool to read this: I think you’re a bunch of fucking war criminal traitors and I can’t wait for you dumbfucks to find out what THAT penalty looks like.
I think you’re a bunch of fucking war criminal traitors
War crimes? No. Crimes against humanity? Yes.
Difference? While both are against the Rome Statute, they are in fact under different articles. Why? Some things are crimes that only apply when done against a soldier in war, while others are crimes against all of humanity when done irrespective of whether the other party was a soldier or not.
Thanks for not actually contributing a goddamn thing to the conversation.
Thanks for almost making me cover the table in coffee
Words have meaning, and it is important to be accurate in what is said, especially in the legal context. It’d be a shame if the scope of who is held accountable for ICE is limited because of a technicality
Oh you’re one of those people.
“Can’t use hyperbole or anything other than exacting language or I will have an AKSHULLY moment” kinda person. lol please express my condolences to those who have to live with you.
Lmao come get me fellas
