Remember when Trump threatened to wipe out a whole civilization? And then backed out of that and talked about forming a deal with Iran? And then dropped that and went to a UFC fight as negotiations fell apart? And then unveiled a triumphal arch and a photo of himself as Jesus?

    Two causes but no real objectives of the war:

    1. Israel would have attacked anyways and he didn’t want to look weak as an ally
    2. His ego, overreaction, wanting to play the tough guy, convincing himself that this will be worth an entry in history books

    Now, he has created this situation and doesn’t know how to back out of his mess without loosing his face (from his view) in public, whichbl he already has lost anyways
