What’s the difference between a Mafia movie and a cartel movie other than one being Mexican/Latino?

Like: Good Scifi, Historical Drama, Police Procedural, Anime

Dislike: Bad SciFi, Cringe

I like it when they manage to mix it up.

“The 7% Solution” has Sherlock Holmes and Sigmund Freud together.

“Widow’s Bay” is really scary and really funny.

“Severance” is a workplace comedy / dystopian horror series.

Favorites: Space Western, and Unusual Team Sport (think Stomp the Yard, Drum Line, Bring It On, the Step Up series)

Least favorites: WW2, Cringe Comedy, and Body Horror (eg. Drag Me To Hell or Hellraiser)

Generally for me swordfighting makes a movie better and things that’ll put you off your lunch makes it worse, if I had to nail it down to two criteria.
