I am totally okay with this tbh, it’s one of the words that I struggled with when I learned English in school. It makes no sense that lose and loose sound the same.
It does sound the same to me as a non-native speaker, but if i can spell it right and understand the difference, you can too. Because there’s tougher language out there, like chinese, that you can say the exact same sounding word but mean different thing. As a chinese myself, that’s how i learn the important of getting the word right.

They don’t. One is lose (loo-zz), the other is loose (loo-ss).
Not sure if you’re joking or completely unaware that they don’t actually sound the same…
I’d wager they sound the same to most non-native speakers in a casual conversation.
