What the heck is this shit!!just make ur own at this point
Also mildly infuriating is the lack of crosspost button so I can add this to !mls@lemmy.world — I guess it only appears when the post originates from a piefed instance?
Crossposts is definitely an option for Lemmy posts as well. What client are you using?
The pwa
Sorry, I have no clue what that is. Mobile or web?
If it’s mobile it could be hidden behind the share button. If it’s web… idk tbh. I mostly use mobile. But I’ve got both Piefed and Lemmy accounts (been trying out Piefed on occasion) and I’ve been able to crosspost between the two, but I did notice federation is a bit slow
PWA is short for progressive web app. It’s the website plus a little extra browser magic so you can save it to your phone’s home screen.
There’s federation issues between piefed and lemmy currently. It’s not like this normally.

Nahhhh please tell me the guy bought it back and asked for a refund, because that’s terrible even for stadium food lmao
Feeding this little is a war crime in more civilized societies.
I dislike shrinkflation, but this is egregious!
To be fair, it only said “meatball” and there’s at least two of them instead of only 1.
Lol
I mean, it’s called a meatball sandwich, not a meatballs sandwich. You’re lucky you got two of them! /s
I ate at a restaurant that did this once. The kids menu had “spaghetti with meatball” which they got a kick out of.
It was the size of my fist. They served my single-digit age children like a 3/4lb meatball each. They still tell tales of the legendary meatball to this day.
It looks like there’s 3 to me. Practically gluttony.
That’s just some bread with jizz on it
And pickles! Jizz 'n Pickles would be a wild band name.
Must be a ska band
#technicallycorrect
At this point they are trying to insult you.
Non-existent portion aside, that looks disgusting.
As a Swedish person I have no idea what that white goo is. I wouldn’t touch it, and also I wouldn’t touch that bread.
Fair enough. American bread is a step above styrofoam.
I think it’s a version of swedish meatballs.
Yes, I think you’re right, that’s probably what they were going for.
So Swedish meatballs is served with “brunsås” (literally “brown sauce”) which is a gravy or roux made from the leftover fat in the pan after you’re done cooking the meatballs. I’ve never seen anyone do a white roux for meatballs. This is then served with boiled potatoes, lingonberry jam, pickled cucumber and often steamed carrots.
The gravy is however never served on a meatball sandwich! That’s a completely different thing. Another user mentioned that it’s supposed to come with a beetroot salad, which I’m personally not a fan of, but it would be weird if a “Swedish Meatball Sandwich” was anything other than that.
In general though I’m fine with people taking creative liberties with food, but you’ll have to put some heart into it.
Guess beef prices have hit everyone
