          No, the Linux part is mandatory even if you don’t tell them your distro. SMH, it’s right there in the fine print.

    I hate being the smartest person in the room. I think it says a lot and nothing good about me that I find myself in the situation often.

      TBF the Linux kernel already doesn’t meet the criteria because of all the blobs (depending on who you ask, anyway). But yeah, shenanigans like this is why e.g. the Ubuntu font family is considered unfree despite its stated intention of being free.
