Lose some weight and get into outdoor hobbies. Summer is awesome, hiking, biking, paddling, going to the beach, summer is great if you like to actually do things outside.

It’s actively over 100°F in the city I just left and has been consistently for over a month. Waking up literally every day to an “Excessive Heat Warning” is soul sucking.

The heat index here was 111 the other day. It approached wet bulb temps. I’m a former marine and bike 50 miles a week.

The outside in the summer will literally kill you because you can’t evaporatively cool enough from sweating. It’s a biological impossibility at that point.

When it has just rained and it is still in the high 90s, you risk death playing sports outside.

I have been to jungle warfare training, fought in deserts at 125 degrees, and sweat through 60 lbs of gear and body armor.

      The summers now are lethal.

You must live someplace really nice. Around here summer days are 95-100F with 80% or higher humidity, putting the heat index around 115. That’s not “awesome”, and that’s coming from someone that bikes 150 miles or more a week.

Yeah but like being in the city sucks in summer and most people cant afford to be anywhere else so most people are gonna hate summer, thats just how it is. And being fit doesnt help either, nearly had a heatstroke walking to gym today, weather was forty degrees…
