I’m no longer surprised by this guy’s idiocy. Nor by so many people not being able to recognize the obvious.

Hoe about the Canadians renaming the locks between the great lakes “closed” in return?

It’s going to be interesting to see how many aspects of American culture instantly revert go 2015 after this regime, or attempt to do so, anyway.

Actually surprised he hasn’t slapped his name on literally everything, like the state names. Maybe start with Trumpexas, those salt of the earth cowboys love his orange ass down there.

I still call the body of water between Mexico and the Southern US the “Gulf of Mexico”. And I will continue to call the large lake north of New York State “Lake Ontario”.

Trump can pass as many petty executive orders at he likes. They won’t make a difference. Except to water time, effort, and money.

It’s like he thinks he’s punishing Canada.

The reason the lake (and the province, and the city in New York) is called Ontario is because that’s what it’s been called for the last thousand or so years.

All calling it “Lake America” does is shows the pompousness and ignorance of the person calling it that.

Of course, Canada should retaliate by renaming Lake Superior to it’s original name….
