I’ve toned down the porn and trained my brain to settle (usually) for clothed images of hot people and its imagination. It feels better and it leaves more room for escalation
Never.
What are you, southern Baptist?
Heh, no 😂 I just don’t like it. Erotica art without sex is max that I like in this regard.
Alright jim haggerty.
This is one of my favorite bits they do
My wife and I used to watch porn very often. Nowadays it’s almost never. I cannot speak for her but for me the fakeness of it all became very cringey for me. Now, if I do watch, I stick to Lustery. It’s a site that focuses on real couples. Watching loving couples laughing and enjoying each other is a lot hotter to me than most of the fake stuff out there.
Hilariously, many couples post travel vlogs with a sprinkle of sex in the end. I tend to watch the travel bit and skip the sex because I’m far more interested in the non-touristy places they go because the income comes from the porn bit rather than trying to be an influencer.

So hot! I’ve really enjoyed the evolution of porn in this way. So many candid, loving couples having fun together!

That’s actually so clever! Paid to do what you love, on both fronts
Where are these at?
In Lustery.
Watching any at all is bad for you mentally and physically
There’s plenty of healthy porn out there.

mentally it’s exciting and can alleviate high volumes of stress hormones.
physically it can stimulate muscles you normally don’t use when you orgasm.
porn and masturbation is healthy and good for you. it’s even better when you involve more people.
checkmate christians!
To whoever replied and then blocked me - it is a bit lame buddy. I’m only here to have balanced discussions, but you decide to use it for a teensy tiny little ego boost because you “epically dunked on someone and they can’t reply back.”
All it ultimately says is that you’re incapable of advocating for your beliefs here, i.e “porn is good”
If you block someone on Fediverse it only hides the person you blocked on your own account. You’ll still see the comments from someone who has blocked you, they just won’t see any replies from you. So, idk what you’re ranting about, there’s no other replies to you except velma even checking the .world instance directly. You’re describing reddit’s blocking system.
I think I’ve conditioned myself to the point where it’s it’s pretty rare I go a day without watching at least one thing. Doesn’t mean I always DO anything while watching, but that’s an answer for another question.
Not at all mainly read erotica instead.
Any suggestions other than Literotica
I would poke around “romantasy” style fiction books. There’s a lot of erotica in there and a pretty large fan base.
Occasionally. It’s frustrating that most free porn sites are kind of bad at search and filter. You’d think a tagging system would be easy to implement but most sites seem to just have a barely functional search.
hourly.
Like a lot of the responses here, I don’t like much video porn, it’s more funny than sexy.
Written erotica, that can be so hot, but still not often. Mostly when I need it, imagination is the way to go.
Every day.
Somewhere between “every other day” and “every other week”
I see tits everywhere…
It depends on my mental health. During certain periods, it’s every day. Other periods, nothing for a month or so. The worse my mental condition, the more I watch. Not that I pretend to know what the “real” or “correct” way to watch porn is, but I only ever use it as a coping mechanism. It helps me escape reality for a few minutes. Recently, I have begun trying to limit my consumption, because I don’t really want to escape reality. As of today, I haven’t watched anything for about two weeks.
Same. If I’m at home trying to sleep I will genuinely have a panic attack without it. It’s the only thing that strongly occupies my attention enough to prevent a panic attack from setting in (that I can do while in bed)
Anything else is not personally engaging enough to prevent my mind from wandering (like listening to music, browsing Lemmy, or reading)
I prefer audio
