“I don’t like the DSA,” Charles Rogers said, referring to the Democratic Socialists of America, as he left a polling station at Marion intermediate school. “I don’t like how the Democrats want to back them. Democrats used to be for the working man, but something’s changed … I do not agree with the DSA, and more Democrats are backing them with crazy ideas.”

I wish it wasn’t, I wish the Democrats would get up and fight… Instead they’re all “What America needs is a strong republican party to help keep us in check.” and “When they go low we go high.”

No, it’s time to start seeing Republicans for what they really are. Enemies of America, Traitors to the state, and the reason everything sucks.

“I’m a true American. I believe in the USA,” said the man, outside Christ the Servant Lutheran church in Conway. “And I don’t believe in communism or socialism.”

Therefore, I don’t believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

This is what I don’t understand about victims of capitalism. Why can’t they see that the system isn’t working for them and thus they need to try something else?

Acts 4:32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

I have to laugh every single time I hear some xtian (probably of the NAR xtian type, too) talk about how because they are xtian and therefore communism and/or socialism == bad.

Especially because I know there are active xtian groups today that practice what is generically called Christian socialism, such as the Hutterites. Also, Christian communism predates the likes of Marx and Engels, FFS.

      They are reprogrammable meatbots.

Ask one of these “maga” types how and why donnie, as a conservative, got to the point of gleefully raising taxes (aka, tariffs) on all Americans at every possible chance and at such an alarming rate:

“The real Marklar understand that donnie is the true Marklar, because the Marklar view has been that tariffs are actually very Marklar and all of Marklar love them now. Only the RINOs who aren’t real Marklar would say that historically tariffs are not Marklar. Anyone claiming to be Marklar and saying tariffs are impoverishing them and destroying their businesses are not Marklar enough to trust donnie’s wisdom and his Great Plans. Marklar! USA! USA!”

Everything they say about things like tariffs is exactly as stupid as the above paragraph.

You mean 30% of Americans? America isn’t like it is because of Trump. Trump is the way he is because of Americans.

Trump is a symptom. America is the disease.

How do you protect a democracy when 10% of your voters think the Earth is flat and 65% can’t even read at a 12th grade level when they graduate high school?

Not to mention the fact that anyone from anywhere with any agenda can build a massive platform with enough money, and we have no hate speech laws…

This is a terribly written article. It contains absolutely no polling data or voter statistics, relies entirely on anecdotal evidence in the form of quotes from four South Carolina voters. At best they provide evidence Fox is engaging in a Democrats are socialist campaign but literally does nothing to support or disprove the central question in the title.

One problem with electing dems that can’t defend common sense policies like Medicare for all, or don’t do a genocide is that if they don’t have the communication skills to sell good policies then they don’t have the communication skills to defend who they are. It’s a problem of their own making.
