Clinton’s glaring weaknesses as candidate, her husband’s involvement with the trump-epstein ring and the corrupt insistance of the DNC to run a business-as-usual servant of the rich against a much more shameless servant of the rich neutralized many of the angles of attack that could’ve put 2016 out of trump’s reach. Biden had already seen the first act of authoritarianism in the US, and just sat there, refusing to do anything to prevent it happening again.
These are the people who had the most power to prevent authoritarianism and the closer it got, the less they did about it.
