Donald Trump has issued his latest threat to Iran and said that if officials fail to make a deal with the United States “the whole country is going to get blown up.”
The president also made threats Sunday morning to target civil infrastructure after it was reported that Iranian forces were refusing to allow ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz this weekend.
Either way is a win for Putin.

So that relatively small group of soldiers sitting in boats far from shore without adequate food or supplies are going to crush the much larger and entrenched entire Iranian military now huh. Sounds real scary.
One silver lining to all this is that evidently Trump has learned that its harder to attack a mid sized country halfway around the world --without allies-- than it is to attack some unarmed civilians trying to get to work in portland or minneapolis.

The soldiers won’t do a thing, US Navy-Air Force will toss bombers and missiles; they’ll do small special ops too, of course.
I don’t think they’ll ever use the Army-Marines, too much risk.

I think Sundays is the day when many of his closest advisers take some or all of the day off, so he’s just wandering without the distractions that normally keep him busy.

Yeah, Mad Man Theory, which dates back to the Nixon Administration. It’s debatable whether it worked back then, and it’s definitely not going to work against a theocracy.

Also, when it works it doesn’t work long. A stable nation that consistently helps its friends is a far better strategy. Especially as you never have to go it alone when actually threatened.

Honestly, I think Iran will win the war. The corruption of the Trump Regime has defanged the US in all kinds of ways. However much the rabid pitbull bites, it has only gums. The teeth are gone.
You tripping. Nobody is winning that war and America, sadly still has lots of teeth.
But can they bite into a territory you can’t land on? Drone strikes and artillery can only get you so far, and the world is not happy with Donald Trump blocking one of the globe’s primary oil corridors.
