    I recently learned about this. I wonder if ppl also tell you to drink hot water when its really hot outside?

      In some parts of Brazil, we drink hot black coffee even when the weather is scorching hot. Idk why we do that, even ourselves are aware that it doesn’t make much sense, but we keep doing it, myself included. I guess we just love coffee like that.

        This is not uncommon where I’m from, the logic is that drinking a hot beverage makes your internal body temperature rise, resulting in increased blood circulation, which in turn helps you cool down faster.

          it is known that hot liquids cool the body (access to air circulation to properly engage human evolutionary advantage of sweat glands required)
