It’s rude to tell a bigot that they have an oppurtunity to educate themselves. As a westerner it should be their privilege to not be affected by that racism and to be called out on it the most heinous sin.
You can go educate bigots, sinners, westerners or whoever want it, I’m not stopping you or assigned rudeness to such. Education is one of the rare important tasks!
You are not brainwashed. You are not stupid. You, as a westerner, have a relationship with the global south which affords you to filter the narratives you choose to believe in.
I am asking you sincerely to engage in class betrayal on the global stage.
If there’s a slight chance you come out of this as a better human being then I’ll take that gamble.
