I find it funny that, for better or worse, history would have remembered Rudy as the mayor who had to deal with the chaos of 9/11. Not an endorsement of him, but that would have been the defining moment in our collective memory of him. Now all we’re going to picture is a sweaty dude rambling in front of a landscaping shop.
