It’s been one year since the illegal Trump tariffs were put in place. Almost everything you buy is more expensive now. There are less manufacturing jobs in the US now than there were a year ago. There are less factories in the US now. You didn’t get a Tariff rebate check. Other countries have started making trade deals between each other and avoiding US goods.
Feeling liberated yet?
This is apparently America Great Again. I’m failing to see how exactly, but I’m sure someone wiser than me can elucidate.
We checked with all the wiser people. They all said to ask someone wiser than them. We ran out of people before finding one that could eludicate.
The wildest and most frustrating thing is that absolutely no one (besides OP) is talking about this. The tariffs did not increase domestic manufacturing. They did not work. Yet that is among the least of concerns for the President or any national discourse.

I’ve never felt freeisher.
Shitting on your allies, then asking them for help in the war you recklessly started. Exactly my kind of humor.
He has liberated us from our somewhat functional economy.
Apparently, many US people have been liberated from the shackles of their jobs.
Dat’s me! Been liberated for the past year and I’ve never felt more hopeless!
Seriously though, been keeping myself busy with archiving documents my deceased parents had, and renovating my house. Playing video games and watching movies and anime helps with escapism.
Which animes are you watching as of now?
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game (just finished)
Digimon Beatbreak
Have you tried the videogame version of meth known are Rimworld? Might I suggest you do if you haven’t?
I just checked out the gameplay trailer. I can’t say if I’m much of a management/sim kind of gamer, though I did enjoy what I’ve played of Stardew Valley and Core Keeper.
I’m more of a mapformer (Metroidvania), platformer, arcade beat-em-up, monster tamer, collectathon, visual novel, RPG, puzzle kind of gamer
unfortunately for the non political in murica, there is no end in sight for your misery. Directly or indirectly you voted for this. Every country around the world is doing their best efforts to reduce and eliminate your involvement and influence in their country. its likely that you will not be allowed to even set foot anywhere soon. But for those of us in other countries we will applaud your descent into poverty because you have gladly inflicted it on multiple other countries. GOOD TO RIDDENCE muricans.
I think we all know what would liberate us from this shithole timeline.
C’mon clogged arteries! Go blod clot! Do your thing, heart attack! You are so close stroke!
As if whoever replaces him wouldn’t be any less damaging for the world.
If this was the first time the US voted for him maybe, but this is a systemic problem not just Trump. We see that now.
Killing in the name of god and self-gain is the systemic problem. the worst of our humanity is being exploited while our greatest potential is being suppressed. The world has let Palestine be slaughtered and Iran is just next. I keep hearing Trump has ‘no exit strategy’, when actually it’s pretty simple: just leave and say sorry. But no, he cares for wealth more than he cares for the lives of disposable children, and he’ll bomb anything that makes him richer.
May the Great Divestment from the Dis-United States Located In North America (DUSLINA) continue.
I’ve been calling it the United Mistakes of America since the Reagan era. It’s never been more apt.
Trust the plan.
That would require the plan to be consistent and not always change.
Most of Europe is working hard to have as little to do as possible with the US going forward. It’s like an embarrassing cousin who can’t stop causing drama at family gatherings.
Even here in the UK who shot ourselves in the foot by voting to leave the EU with the hope of closer ties to the US has pretty universally seen the benefits of closer ties with Europe.
The UK is like Europe’s super-depressed brother who said he’s leaving and never coming back. We still love you, and the door will always be open if you want to come home.
However there will be a padlock on the fridge from now on
