Real talk; Zootopia 2 is way better then I thought it would be. Like it’s better then the first and that’s something.

The thing about zootopia is that nobody is fucking outside their species. So perhaps the happy ending for Officer Hopps and Mr Foxxy here would be to each find a mate in their respective species.

Also, how do they produce meals for the carnivores in Zootopia?

Which is great, but realize the implications of industrial self milking: even if you can still produce milk for a bit after weening time with hormone supplements you will run dry until you have another kid. They’re just popping them out to keep up their milk production.

Or maybe all animals love being milked so there’s like a milk drive - much like human blood drives - where all who are able go to donate their milk. All the animal milks get mixed together in one big unhoky cornucopia vat of mammal juice. All nutrient combos blend together. The centre of Zootopian civilisation is their ritual milk drinking. All hail the milk mother. Mammalia Invicti

    • There are mixed species couples in Zootopia tho. They just weren’t in the foreground. The two neighbors you hear through Judy’s apartment walls are mixed species and gay.

The second movie also shows non-sapient animals exist so they are likely eating meat (and milk) from regular, non anthro animals.

nobody is fucking outside their species

Is this canon? They’re probably not having kids outside their species because that (probably) wouldn’t work (given the apparent lack of weird hybrids), but just plain copulation? Heck, we see that in the real world occasionally.

As for what the carnivores are eating, two possibilities present themselves: 1) The Disney Goofy / Pluto paradox is resolved by realising that one is more evolved than the other, and while they’re related species, they’re not the same species. The Zootopia world may have less evolved equivalents of the multiple sapient species, and they may be OK with eating them. 2) You don’t see any humans in their world. Does that mean they’re not there? Longpig is said to be delicious…

My headcanon now. It’s the only thing that makes sense, and any theory that solves 2 or 3 problems at once is likely to be true

Carnivores in Zootopia eat fish and insects, which are considered non-sentient, as well as plant protein.

Scientists just found sentience in a small fish, so… Yea.

Anyone, including the writers of Zootopia, that say animals aren’t sentient and especially if they say they don’t have emotions and feel things … are just telling you they are an unempathetic monster.

I would love to read that article and see how they defined sentiences, senescence, tumescence, sapience, all that for their research. shitposting aside that sounds really interesting.

To even have to use the word sapient over sentient is to draw a line that humanity still does not know how to discern from the vast majority of the animal kingdom.

Basically, you’re choosing to be one of those heartless morons that want to deny the sentience of animals.

Mate, the point is that they’re not talking cartoon anthropomorphic animals, like the characters in Zootopia are. Was that really not obvious or are you just in the mood to argue and insult some people for no reason?

Seriously, you goons are so hellbent on pretending thst real animals cannot feel that it is truly beyond pathetic…

By fish do you mean bees and beavers? The Vatican and State of California have urgent questions that must be answered about this film.
