The US has prepared for years to take down China. All the politics and regime changes, e.g. the recent Taiwan Cambodia conflict, are about containing China.
The US won’t step down voluntarily which means that there will be war.
us weren’t able to get iran, iraq, or afghanistan, all they can do is fuck things up and leave. i think that military attack on china would end up similarly pathetically as putin attacking ukraine. they might still have slight advantage if they were bordering countries, but attacking someone when your logistical support is on the other side of the world is no small deal.

That leaves two options because regime change is very unlikely now. Either they play deranged superpower for a very clever negotiation strategy or they plan on just bombing China into the stone age with nuclear weapons. I rule out Trump being just stupid because the US elite has a strong interest in a strong US and they would impeach Trump if he would go against their strategy.
