I’m pleased for the Chinese people, my response is more facetious due to the whole “bad guy China” narrative that keeps being pushed, and then you look at some of the protections they have and you wonder “why doesn’t this happen here”. So it’s certainly not dissing China, and much more a remark on my own country’s failings.
Part of the “western experience” is having a boogeyman. China is the current one. It’s not necessarily racist, it’s just they need an “other” to compare themselves to. But yes, it sure is pathetic and only idiots believe it
Ghost kitchen is just the same as a takeout only restaurant that instead of having a large menu has a smaller menu with different store names. In theory it’s completely fine and neutral. If the quality is low that is an unrelated issue.
I hate when China does something more ethical/moral than my own country.

It’s not about the quality of the food but the way staff are treated and abused in little more than food factories
