Basic definition below. I mostly consider it intentionally trolling,posting something you know is going to annoy people, dumb shit and/or funny extra silly.
thoughout my life I have a tendency towards sarcasm and devils advocate. Certainly less so now because devils advocate is about putting more effort toward understanding which is sorta tiresome to me at this point. sarcasm is just a way to handle much of our absurd reality although ironically the more absurd it gets the harder it is to be sarcastic.
If I’m communicating in shitpost its either an affirmative statement or sarcasm/trolling 99% of the time.

An empty, non-contributing and mostly often, an attempt to derail an active discussion or even debate. Often spirals into trolling just to amuse the commenter until they’re bored.
I consider a shitpost any sort of stupid joke. Basically anything that’s deliberately not meant to be taken seriously.

A post intended to detract from the discussion it’s part of.
It has to deconstruct the idea of normal effort-posts. Either by transgressing conventional humor or being ostentatiously low effort.
However some posts are pretty funny by being WAY too high effort, thereby subverting expectations

Even if OP is trying to piss off someone or make a statement of some sort, done is a way that’s some combination of hyperbole, satire, and polemic. But the point is that it’s unserious.
