If I’m actually being served then I start at 20% and it can go up or down depending on performance. But not everyone is getting 20% because then it’s a fee and not a tip.
If I’m not being served and their only a cashier, then they better be a damn good cashier for me to tip otherwise that starts at 0%.
Tipping is performance based. But if you can’t afford to tip then you probably shouldn’t be eating out or you’re probably just a cheap bastard.
